Conference Weekend and April fun

We were lucky to have the whole Rowley family in town for conference this year. Ryan even came down from Idaho. We got to play some bump (basketball) and sing together around the piano for a while, which was pretty fun.  Although I think I pulled a muscle in bump and it took a few days to recover...

Landon and I have become avid rugby fans this year as we go to watch David play all the time. I'll be honest with you, rugby is one of those sports where the rules have always baffled me.  But after this season I am finally understanding it.  David plays the lock position for BYU.

This weekend there were lots of Rowley cousins and aunts and uncles in town for graduation and moving kids home for the summer. We had a get together at Aunt Mindy's house.  Makenna thought it would be good to take a sideview pic of the belly, ha.

And here's our good preggers pic with Landon in it with me, we finally had someone else around to take it :) I'm almost 37 weeks.

Makenna said we had to do the traditional heart on the belly pose. You can see how much I love it...

Baby Shower!!

So a couple weeks ago, Whitney and Makenna were kind enough to throw me a baby shower! It was fun to see lots of friends and family, and get excited about our coming boy!  Here is something the Rowley girls made for me. So creative!

Here are about half of the girls that came (we didn't get the picture before some had already left)

And some of me opening our cute gifts. Thanks to everyone! We appreciate the cute clothes and useful baby items--they really helped on the budget!  And I got some good advice here and there from the experienced moms :)

She's Crafty!

The post title comes from a song that my sister's friends made about her in college. It just came to mind, haha. While Landon has been studying like crazy for finals, I decided to get crafty and make some things to get ready for the baby.  People tell me it's that "nesting" thing kicking in.  I just finished a carseat cover. I still have to buy cute buttons to decorate the straps, but other than that, it's done.

I also decided to try making a nursing cover, because they looked easy enough, ha.

Lately we have been trying to find things to decorate the baby's room (Landon doesn't like when I call it a nursery. He thinks it sounds British, ha. Or reminds him of Peter Pan).  Since we're on a budget, I'm trying to do things that make it color coordinated without buying too much.  I decorated these frames to match the bedding set with the Modge Podge I had on hand and a couple pieces of scrapbook paper.

We left our camera at Levi's house, so I will have to catch up on things with Easter and Conference later when I have the pictures, but I was excited to have finished my projects, so I wanted to post them.
